Jamal Ray Charles Scores Hatrick Against Belize

Grenada completes its CONCACAF Nation’s League tournament unbeaten with a four-game win, two draws and a no loss record, on 14 points at the top of the Group “B” League “A” table.

The Spice Boys won their final game last evening at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium three goals to two against Belize, courtesy a Jamal Ray Charles hatrick.

He opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but Belize equalized 18 minutes later to go to the interval 1-1.

When play resumed, the visitors went ahead in the 55th minute through Michael Salazar…a lead which only lasted 4 minutes before a Jamal Ray Charles strike that brought the score 2-all.

Charles made one of his usually cunning moves and put Grenada ahead in the 68th minute of play, three goals to two.

He completed the 2019 journey with 6 goals and Grenada advancing to League “A” and qualifying for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
