Three Grenadian Players On Under-17 Windwards List For CWI Tournament

Three Grenadian players are on the Windwards Under-17 list of cricketers campaigning in the Cricket West Indies tournament in Trinidad and Tobago.

The three Grenadians on the squad are Teddy Bishop,

Divonie Joseph and Tiron Charles.

The three players recently participated in the windward Islands Under-19 competition.

Today is a rest day in the Under-17 CWI tournament.

Tomorrow, the Windwards will come up against Guyana.

They have already played Jamaica and Barbados.

The Windwards, batting first against Barbados yesterday, tallied 173 for 8.

Barbados chased down the target, only losing 3 wickets, with 8.2 overs to spare.

We already told you that four Grenadians have been selected on the Windwards Under-19 squad for the CWI tournament beginning July 25.

Teddy Bishop who is campaigning in the windwards Under-17 team is included.

The others are Jamie Buddy, Seandell Regis and Ronel Williams.

Four players are selected from Dominica, three each from St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
