PR – North Stars FC secured the championship title of the Grenada Football Association (GFA) Under-19 Tournament last evening, delivering a commanding 4-0 victory over FC Camerhogne (FCC) at Fond.
The match began with immediate intensity, as North Stars FC signaled their intentions early. Raheem Raeburn found the back of the net in just the 2nd minute of play, providing his side with an early lead that held firm heading into the halftime break.
Returning for the second half, North Stars FC maintained their pressure on the FCC defense. The momentum shifted decisively in the 58th minute when an unforced error by FCC’s Darrenzo McIntosh resulted in an own goal, extending the lead to 2-0.
Building on this advantage, Omar Franklin capitalized on the offensive surge to score in the 63rd minute, bringing the tally to 3-0. Kevin Fleming eventually clinched the decisive victory in the 76th minute, sealing a comprehensive performance and securing the prestigious title for North Stars FC.
