0

There’ll be a new champion this year in the Under-15 division of the Republic Bank Right Start Cup football tournament.

This is because the defending champions, Grenada Seventh Day Adventist Comprehensive school failed to qualify to the next round of competition, due to begin November 9.

We hear that Grenada Seventh Day Adventist Comprehensive ended third in their zone.

That’s the quarter-final.

The teams making it to the Under-15 quarter finals thus far are Grenada Boys Secondary School (GBSS); Presentation Brothers’ College (PBC Canons); St. Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School (SAASS); St. Mark’s Secondary School (SMSS); Hillsborough Secondary School (HSS); St. David’s Catholic Secondary School (SDCSS) the Best 2nd Place finisher.

The other four second place finishers will compete in the one-game play-off to determine the final two teams that will move on to the Under-15 Boys Quarterfinals.

The one-game play-off is scheduled for this Thursday, November 1.
