Prime Minister Mitchell Wants To See Trade Unions Get Involved In Business Ventures

“In the new global community, unless we work together, we would not survive”.

Recent sentiments by Grenadian Leader, Dr. Keith Mitchell, at a meeting with the top brass of the Caribbean Congress of Labour (CCL).

Dr. Mitchell underscored the importance of the labour movement and benefits that can be derived in working together.

He called for unifying efforts – businesses, governments and labour, to deal with fundamental challenges which the region faces.

Dr. Mitchell pledged the Grenada Government’s cooperation in going forward.

He suggested to the CCL, now led by TAWU’s President General, Andre Lewis, that trade unions get involved in business ventures that can benefit their members over time.
