National Under-23 B-Ball

In the National Under-23 Basketball Tournament which opened Saturday, there were wins for Grenville Eagles and Southern Elites.

Grenville Eagles, led by Travis Ranger shooting 27 points,  defeated Bowen’s Panthers 78 – 69.

Ranger also had 14 Rebounds, 1 Blocked Shot, 3 Assists and 1 Steal.

Though the Panters lost, Joey St. Louis was excellent, and like Ranger, also netted 27 points.

Southern Elites, led by Keshone Hazzard’s 18 Points, 9 Rebounds, 2 Blocked Shots, 2 Assists and 3 Steals, powered their way over Gouyave Juniors 88 – 70.

However, Charlon Mark of Gouyave Juniors enjoyed a game-high 21 points.
