The Lions club of St. Andrew’s, Grenada, is celebrating its 50thΒ anniversary today August 25.
Itβs a non-profit, non-governmental organization, a member club of the world’s largest service organization.
The club last weekend celebrated mass at the St. Matthew’s RC Church with fellow Lions and Leos from St. Andrew’s, St. George’s and St. John’s.
Reena Matthew is the Marketing and Communications Chairperson of the Lions club of St. Andrew.
Matthew says as part of their mandate the club has already completed two empowerment projects, in providing for persons within communities.
