GRENADA COOPERATIVE BANK GEARING UP FOR ITS POPULAR PUMP-IT-UP WALK ON THE SISTER ISLE THIS WEEKEND

The Grenada Cooperative Bank moving to Carriacou this weekend with its ever-popular Pump-it-Up Walk!

And, as in recent times, it’s bent on raising funds toward the re-establishment of services at the Carlton Home rehabilitation center for substance abusers.

The home was destroyed during the passage of hurricane Ivan in 2004.

The Pump-it-Up Fun Walk will be on the Sister Isle of Carriacou this weekend people there are called out to participate in the activity, which has a multi-pronged approach.

Hosten says the walk has been growing considerably and residents of the Sister Isles and on mainland Grenada are encouraged to register quickly, with the track already drawn out for the activity.  

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Mental Health Wellness and Religious Affairs, Kim Frederick, sees the Pump-it-Up Walk as a splendid initiative.

The Permanent Secretary sees the activity benefitting the Carlton Home refurbishment immensely.

Following the activity in Carriacou, the Pump-it-Up fun Walk will be on Mainland Grenada.
