CHRISTIANS URGED TO LOOKOUT FOR EACH OTHER IN THIS SEASON

0

It’s Holy Thursday today, a time significant with historic Christian tradition in the Lenten season, in the run-up to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Biblical teachings recognize the day when Jesus Christ washed the feet of his disciples.

Churchgoers here usually pay reverence on this particular occasion.

Parish Priest in charge of the Anglican Church of St. David and St. Paul, Fr. Edward Mark, is urging Christians to lookout for each other in this season.

His comment comes specifically on the observance of this week being “Holy Week”, an occasion where Christians in Grenada and around the World reflect on the agony of Jesus Christ, leading up to his resurrection day, labeled Easter Sunday.
