A capicity development training for stakeholders in the Refrigeration and Air Condition (RAC) sector in Grenada was held today, targeting retailers and Government workers.

It was held at the Kirani James International Athletic Stadium and Co-organized by the National Ozone Unit and the German Development Corporation (GIZ)

With cooling accounting for more than 60% of Grenada’s national electricity consumption, National Ozone Officer in the Ministry of Climate Resilience, the Environment and Renewable Energy, Leslie Smith, encourages people to understand the need for a wide-spread uptake of climate-friendly and energy-efficient cooling solutions.
