Bishop Makes Contribution On Marijuana Use National Round Table On The Caricom Commission

 Catholic Bishop, Fr. Clyde Martin Harvey, is not in favour of marijuana usage describing it as a “weapon of war” against Caribbean people.

During a recent virtual engagement, the Catholic Bishop was responding to the findings and recommendations of the CARICOM Marijuana Report of 2018.

Discussing issues of Health and Social considerations, including youth and children, among others, Father Harvey says the decriminalization of the herb could lead to the detriment of the nation’s youth.

Harvey is calling for in-depth discussion on the issue and urges the powers-that-be to give serious thought to such a move.
