Unplanned Outages Impact Electricity Customers

Grenlec apologises to customers for an outage that affected a large number of customers on the morning of 6 April.

All electricity service was restored within an hour.

Please note that all the Company’s generators are operational and there is no major system damage.

Grenlec has reviewed the events leading to this morning’s outage and is implementing procedures to prevent its reoccurrence.
