Another drug bust has resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cannabis, the confiscation of just over two thousand five hundred dollars, the uprooting of twenty-four (24) cannabis trees ranging from seedlings to four feet and charges laid against three persons.
The individuals, two males and one female, were nabbed on Sunday 10th May, 2020 about 03:30 a.m. during a search of a house in Mt. Granby, St. John.
They are Junior Jamal Charles, 30 years, Carpenter, resident of Chancey Village, St. Vincent, Ramon Ogiste, 36 years, Construction Worker of Gouyave Estate and Della Simon, 33 years, Vendor of Douglaston, Gouyave, St. John.
All three have been charged with varying drug offenses including Possession of a Controlled Drug, Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply to Another and Cultivation of Controlled Drug.
A charge of Money Laundering was also laid against Junior Charles.
Police investigations are continuing.
