Grenada Police are reportedly investigating a fatal shooting incident which occurred in Gouyave, St. John, early yesterday evening.
We understand that the incident took place in the area called โGun Battleโ which claimed the life of a 28-year-old man, known as Johnathan โNot Niceโ Richards.
Reports indicate that several shots rang out and Johnathan got hit and fell to the ground.
He died on his way to hospital.
We understand that armed units of the RGPF rushed to the scene of the crime but the shooter had already fled.
Investigations are continuing.
The motive for the killing has not been made known.
A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
