POLICE INVESTIGATING DISCOVERY OF BODY IN ST. PATRICK

In another police report, investigations are continuing into the discovery of a body in St. Patrick.

They are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Samuel Alexander, 29 years of Madeys, St. Patrick.

Yesterday, officers proceeded on enquiries at Madeys, St. Patrick, where they observed the motionless body of a male lying on the ground in the bushes.

He was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.

A postmortem is to be conducted to determine the actual cause of death.

Police investigation continues into the matter and the RGPF extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The RGPF, meanwhile, has sent out notice that there’s going to be live ammunition training at the Eastern/Lower End of the Pearls Airstrip in St. Andrew tomorrow.

Activity will be during the hours of 7 and 9 in the morning.

The public, in particular residents of Pearls, St. Andrew and surrounding areas, inclusive of animal owners, small craft and boat operators, are strongly advised to refrain from using the area during the time of the training.
