One Man Imprisoned and Another Charged for Praedial Larceny

Kelvin Benjamin, 48 years, Unemployed of Loretto, St. John appeared at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 6th October 2022, charged with Praedial Larceny and was sentenced to one (1) year in prison for that offence.

Benjamin was arrested and charged for the theft of a quantity of Avocados, valued at thirty dollars ($30.00 ECC), committed on October 2nd 2022.

In a separate incident, Reginald Richard, Vendor of Queen Street, Victoria, St. Mark, was arrested and charged for the offences of Praedial Larceny and Vagrancy for the theft of a quantity of Coconuts.

Richard was placed on bail in the sum of $3,500.00ecc with one surety and is scheduled to appear before the Victoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday 31st October, 2022.
