It appears there’ll be no GFA football this year until a matter is thrashed out in the Court, relative to Premier League team, GBSS obtaining a position in the tournament last season.
It may well be said that the 2018-2019 tournament has not yet been completed since a promotion/relegation game is still outstanding.
The contention lies with GBSS, which was scheduled to play Chantimelle in that match, but GBSS is contending it still has a matter with the GFA outstanding.
In so far as the situation is currently, GBSS has filed an injunction in the court seeking a hearing on the matter.
That is scheduled for October 14.
