Word out of the NNP camp is that Nimrod Ollivere, the man with the White in the Moonlight fame, gets the nod to be the organizationโs caretaker for the Constituency of St. George North-East.
He was unanimously supported by delegates to take care of matters in the area.
The NNP caretaker-ship of the constituency became vacant when Tobias Clement resigned from the Party some 2 years ago.
He took up the position as Opposition Leader.
In the meantime, the NNP Political Leader, Prime Minister, Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell, helped in the process of conducting constituency affairs.
Now, the mantle is handed over to Nimrod Ollivere, who was nominated and endorsed at a meeting of delegates last evening.
NNP General Secretary, Roland Bhola, says the engagement was enlightening and that Nimrod Ollivere was unopposed.
Bhola says the people in attendance were very enthusiastic, as they accepted Nimrod Ollivere.
