PRESS RELEASE DATE: Wednesday 10th April, 2024
Lee-John Jordan, 37 years old, Fisherman of Owia, St. Vincent and Leslie Regis, 44 years old, Maintenance worker of Requin, St. David were jointly charged with the offence of Trafficking in a Controlled Drug.
The charge was laid against both men after a Suzuki Escudo was intercepted and searched, during an operation conducted by officers of the Drug Squad Unit on Tuesday 9th April 2024, at La Tante St. David, revealing a quantity of compressed cannabis.
Both men appeared at the St. David Magistrate Court today Wednesday 10th April 2024, and were remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.
They are schedule to reappear in court on Wednesday 17th April, 2024.
