Grenada Police say they’re confident in a matter of days they’ll be able to make an arrest, as a result of a stabbing incident where a young man in his early twenties lost his life at Mt. Craven, in St. Patrick, Sunday morning.

The matter refers to the stabbing death of Kurt Fraser, which occurred at around one in the morning Sunday, hours after the Pure Grenada Cup double Header third round at the Fond Recreation ground Saturday night.

What actually transpired is still being investigated.

Reports from the Police indicate that officers attached to the Sauteurs Police Station responded to a call about an alledged stabbing incident at Fond, St. Patrick.

They visited the Sauteurs Medical Station and observed a young man lying on a bed with what appeared to be blood on his body.

The man was later taken to the General Hospital where he subsequently died.

A post mortem is scheduled to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Meantime, another young man age 21 years from Beaulieu, St. George, is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.

The police noted that there’s been no arrest yet, but they’re confident to do so in a matter of days.
