Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, sees appropriate use of social media and socialization as a means of re-engineering young minds away from the scourge of crime and violence.

He says the re-emerging creative sector is one of the avenues that can also help in the process.

Mr. Mitchell was making the point at a regional high-level symposium in Trinidad yesterday, where territorial leaders were seeking to find solutions to put the brakes on crime and violence, recognized now as posing a threat to be a public health issue.

The Grenadian Leader spoke of COVID-19 which brought about effects that provoked challenges, with the view that behavioural changes are needed.
