Grenada To Host Male Netball Championship

Grenada is the venue for the upcoming and first-time Male Regional Netball Championship which will seek to complement the beginning of the 2019 Inter-sector competition.

All the action will take place at the Tanteen Netball Complex from this Friday to Tuesday 24th September.

We hear that the Grenada Netball Association is on top of the ball in preparing for the event.

So far, the teams taking part will be Antigua, Grenada and an added local team, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.

We hear that St. Lucia has already named its 8-man Netball Squad.

As it concerns the female sport, Grenada sits number 23 of a 43-global country team-ranking.

It number two in the OECS behind St. Lucia and is fifth in the Caribbean.

At the top of the list is Australia, followed by New Zealand, England, Jamaica, South Africa, Uganda, Malawi, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales in the first ten.
