Governor General, Dame Cecile La Grenade, views child abuse as a menace affecting many vulnerable societies, especially during this global pandemic.
She was declaring the start of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month, as the Grenada National Coalition on the Rights of the Child (GNCRC) observes the occasion.
Highlighting this year’s theme, Dame Cecile referred to the issue as a “tragedy” that must be given specific attention, now, more than ever.
