0

The Grenada Association for Retired Persons (GARP) has this year continued with its annual food-hamper distribution to retired elderly individuals in need.

This initiative has become a cornerstone within their calendar of events.

Corporate companies, Hubbard’s and Food Fair, long-standing partners of GARP, have provided ten food hampers to boost the initiative.

The Hubbard’s act of generosity brought joy and relief to the Grenada Association for Retired Persons, as they distributed the much-needed food hampers to the elderly members of the community.

The donation not only provided nourishment but also served as a reminder that they are not forgotten during this festive season.

The Grenada Association for Retired Persons, with their unwavering dedication, ensures that elderly individuals receive the support and assistance they deserve, making their Christmas a little brighter and warmer.

The organization has pledged to assist 30 individuals this year with hopes to meet their goals through kind donations from corporate citizens and individuals alike.

Office manager and active member at GARP, Mrs. Maudlin Williams, expressed her sincere gratitude to Hubbard’s and Food Fair for their continued support to the senior citizens, and made an appeal to the public and other corporate bodies to do the same.

Marketing Officer at Jonas Browne and Hubbard Grenada Limited, Mr. Donally Blackman, made the presentation on behalf of Hubbard’s.
