It’s day 2 of the 2024 Inter-Collegiate Athletic Sports meeting out there at the Kirani James International Athletic Stadium.

So far, analysts are reporting that there’s keen competition and some outstanding performances.

The games move into its 3rd and final day tomorrow, a time where most of the events will be in the final phase.

Well, the planners have put things in place whereby the atmosphere is safe and secure.

There have been made added facets in this year’s games, including organized march past moments, with snippets of culture.

Latest information we have is that the Grenada Child Protection Authority (CPA) will be present at the 2024 Inter-Col Athletic Games tomorrow.

The Child Protection Authority was established by the Child Protection and Adoption Act in 2010, with power to address all child protection matters in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Additionally, the CPA provides psycho-social support to victims of child abuse and works to ensure all children who are in need of residential services have the right to suitable accommodation.

Tomorrow, at the Stadium, there’ll be an information booth, where patrons will have the availability of learning more about the child protection authority and its work in Grenada, as it relates to the protection of children.

The CPA will also be in a position to accommodate reports, whereby it can follow up and make enquiries.
