CARIBBEAN FAMILY PLANNING AFFILIATION ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Three Grenadians have been appointed to serve on the new Board of Directors for the Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation (CFPA).

They are Lady A. Anande Trotman Joseph, an accomplished attorney recognized for her advocacy in gender equality and anti-corruption efforts; Dr. Tonia Frame, a public health expert passionate about sexual and reproductive health and Secretary Rakeem McFarlane, a Science, Technology , Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) enthusiast an advocate for sexual and reproductive health rights among youth.

Lady Trotman and Dr. Frame are Trustees in the Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation.

The CFPA has expressed excitement about the opportunities ahead and is confident in the capabilities of the new board to lead the organization.

The three Grenadians are among the ten-member crew making up the Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation.

Rev. Patricia Sheerattan-Bisnauth of Guyana, the CEO of the CFPA, leads the organization with her extensive experience in gender justice, sexual and reproductive health rights, and feminist theology.
