Catholic Bishop Of The Diocese of St. George’s, Clyde Martin Harvey, makes plea for the Nation’s young people, men in particular, to be better persons in life.

He was speaking at the funeral service yesterday of former Prison Commissioner, Wesley Beggs.

Bishop Harvey places the burden of taking care of the young men and women of the Nation in the hands of the entire society.

He speaks of the Nation’s youth, in particular, needing to understand worthwhile examples of respect and discipline that guard the safety of the society in which they live.

Bishop Harvey made specific reference to their defiance against authority, as it’s generally felt, in the face of COVID-19.

Bishop Harvey sees the challenge as a difficult task ahead, which according to him, there are institutions that can offer help, especially where it concerns respect and discipline.

Bishop Harvey compliments the prison system as an institution that has a vital responsibility of reshaping unsuspecting minds.
