There are reports of another police-involved shooting. The incident is reported to have happened in theΒ Mt. Parnassus area.
Sources claim that Jerry Paul, a resident of the said address, who is known to be mentally unstable, was shot by a police officer on Sunday afternoon.

There have been several police relatedΒ shootings, involving mentally unstable men in recent months. Exactly one week ago police shotΒ a 25-year old Mt. Airy resident who was reportedly armed with a cutlass threatening lives and property. TThe man was shot in the leg and subsequently taken to the General Hospital where he was warded.

There is also an ongoing investigating into a shooting incident which occurred on Wednesday 10th August, 2016 approximately 02:00 a.m at Williamson Road, St. Georgeβs. AΒ man who was unable to speak and hear was shot and killed by a high-ranking off-duty police officer.
