The Nationโs Secondary School students have assembled at the Kirani James International Athletic Stadium for what is the beginning of three days of track and field events, marking the 2023 Inter-Collegiate games.
Thereโs great anticipation of strong performances by the athletes, since the season is on and they have been associated with their clubs and schools in extensive training.
Speaking at the opening ceremony this afternoon was education minister Sen. David Andrew who implored upon the students and athletes to conduct themselves in and orderly manner over the next few days.
Also speaking at the opening was minister for sport Hon. Ron Redhead.
