The latest covid-19 report published last evening shows another individual has succumbed to the Coronavirus.
It brings the number of persons who have died on account of COVID-19 here to 203.
The report also points out that from the Ministry of Health’s activity yesterday confirmed cases have fallen into double digits, unlike in recent times, where the confirmed cases were found in the hundreds.
Out of 872 tests conducted yesterday, 17 persons were identified as being positive.
The test positivity rate yesterday was recorded at 1.9%.
There are 193 new recoveries.
The report shows that 5 persons are being hospitalized, 4 moderately ill and 1 severely ill.
36,364 members of the population (32.2%) are reported to have received the second dose of vaccine to serve as a guard against being severely infected.
Persons who have taken one dose of the vaccine stand at 5,778.
The Ministry of Health report indicates that so far it has administered 4,235 booster doses.
