People with ASD often have problems with social communication and interaction and restricted or repetitive behaviours or interests.

People with ASD may also have different ways of learning, moving, or paying attention.

It is important to note that some people without ASD might also have some of these symptoms. But for people with ASD, these characteristics can make life very challenging.โ€

World Autism Awareness Day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals with ASD.

We recognise the unique strengths and talents that individuals with autism bring to our communities, and we reaffirm our commitment to creating inclusive educational environments that empower every learner to thrive.

Let us continue to advocate for equitable access to education, support services, and
opportunities that enable individuals with autism to reach their full potential.

Together, we can build a more inclusive and compassionate world for all.
