𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons from within and outside the Public Service to serve as Procurement Officers in the Ministry of Finance or another relevant Ministry.

Applicants should possess at least the following:

1. A University degree in economics, finance, engineering, accounting, law or any
relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.

2. Two years’ experience in procurement or areas of purchasing, accounting, or project
management.

3. Experience in analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data.

4. Computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 or similar word processing and
spreadsheets applications.

Successful completion of the course “𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤” on the World Bank e-learning Programs site https://wbnpf.procurementinet.org/e-learning-programs will be a distinct asset.

Successful applicants will undergo a period of training in World Bank procurement
procedures before being engaged on a contractual basis for 24 months.
