The three escaped Grenadian prisoners who were captured in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and pleaded guilty to four immigration charges appeared in court for yet another time in the neighboring territory today.

When they made their first court appearance there, they pleaded guilty to being a prohibited immigrant, having entered the state of SVG by boat without a passport; having entered St. Vincent and the Grenadines other than at a port of entry; and entering the state by boat and disembarking without the consent of an immigration officer; as well as knowingly and willfully allowing themselves to be landed as prohibited immigrants.
In court today, a deportation order was handed down for the three Grenadians who are now the main suspects in a murder case of two US citizensโฆ Ron Mitchell, 30, Trevon Robertson, 25, and Atiba Stanislaus, 23 years, all of Lakabay-cay of Paradise, St. Andrew, Grenada.
The Senior Magistrate in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Colin John, ordered the men to be deported from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to be returned to Grenada.
They escaped police custody in Grenada early in the morning of Monday February 19 where they were being held on rape, robbery with violence and other related charges.
The escapees have been at the center of international news after it was discovered that a yacht, named โSimplicityโ and owned by a US couple, was hijacked and allegedly used by the men to sail to SVG.
Vincentian police said the couple is presumed to be dead after blood and other signs of violence were seen on the yacht.
The Grenada Police now have to prepare themselves to receive the deportees.
The date of arrival here is information that has not been made known.
