The Grenada Coast Guard and local fishermen have been conducting searches at sea, as well as other members of the RGPF, as part of their investigation.

The RGPF says the Regional Security Services (RSS) has been contacted for assistance.

In addition, it says it has also solicited assistance directly from Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Puerto Rico and they have all committed to assisting with the search.

An international bulletin was also sent out to all ships and aircraft traversing the region.

We understand that a Trinidad and Tobago search party has already conducted a fly over with their aircraft in search of the two Grenadian fishermen.

Last evening, there was a candle light vigil in the Soubise area, which entailed prayers and songs and good wishes, as the villagers, friends and associates of the missing fishermen congregated holding out faith and hope, for their return.
