The Grenada Investment Development Corporation (GIDC) wishes to inform the public, business community, investors, entrepreneurs, operators of Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs), and stakeholders that its official social media platforms have been compromised.
As a result, unauthorized individuals may be using GIDC’s name, logo, or likeness to misrepresent the Corporation through fraudulent Facebook pages and other social media accounts. The public is strongly advised not to engage in any transactions or communication with anyone purporting to be staff or representatives of GIDC via social media currently.
In particular, the GIDC emphasizes that any communication encouraging individuals to open an
investment account, transfer funds, or provide banking details is fraudulent and should be ignored.
Official Communication Channels
Until further notice, all official communication from the GIDC should only be verified through:
• GIDC’s official website
• Direct contact with GIDC’s office via established phone numbers or official email
addresses
• Public notices issued through recognised media houses
Members of the public who may have been contacted or who have concerns are encouraged to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity.
