There’s a decrease in this month’s petroleum products price adjustment in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, consumers are to pay less for (Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and Cooking Gas.
Gasoline in Grenada takes a dip from the old price of 15 dollars and 61 cents to 14 dollars and 78 cents, 83 cents off.
Diesel moves from 16.35 to 15.80 and Kerosene, has no change, It remains 12 dollars and 37 cents.
In Grenada, the 20-pound cylinder of cooking gas remains at 40 dollars…the 100-pound cylinder goes down by 8 dollars and 15 cents, from 265 dollars and 40 cents to 257.25.
Bulk goes down 10 cents from 2.75 to 2.65.
In Carriacou and Petite Martinique, the 20-pound cylinder remains stable at 49 dollars…the 100-pound cylinder moves from 288 dollars and 40 cents to 280 dollars and 25 cents.
Bulk goes down by the same 10-cent margin like on the mainland…from 2 dollars and 75 cents to 2 dollars and 65 cents.
A release from the energy division of the ministry of Finance noted that the new retail prices, are computed based on the average of the actual cost, freight, and insurance rates for Gasoline, Diesel, and Kerosene, however, for LPG, the mean Caribbean postings (Platts) for cost was used over the period October 28, 2023, to November 25, 2023.
Petroleum products are price-controlled goods; therefore, no retailer shall vary the stated prices.
The adjusted prices take effect as of today.
