MOE Says Greater Attention Needs To Be Paid In The Area Of Mathematics

Based on the 2021 CPEA results which were released yesterday, the ministry of education speaks of paying greater attention in the area of mathematics, which, according to analysis, has shown a decline in performance.

Mathematics documented the most significant decrease, moving from a mean score of 55.56 in 2019 to a below average score of 49.06 in 2021.

Deputy Chief Education officer with responsibility for exams, Michelle Peters George, says it’s an area of concern.
