June See A Drop In Petroleum Prices

With a monthly price adjustment at around this time by the energy division, we hear there’s a drop in the cost of Petroleum Products.

It’s the time of the month when there’s the regular adjustment to the prices of petroleum products, calculated by the Energy division in the Ministry of Finance.

This month, there’s a reduction in prices.

On mainland Grenada, gasoline at the pumps go down by 60 cents, from 15 dollars and 91 cents to 15 dollars and 31 cents; Diesel, from 14 dollars and 96 cents to 14 dollars and 63 cents and Kerosene 9.41 to 9.13 per imperial gallon.

The 20-pound cylinder of Rubis and Petro Caribe cooking gas remains the same…constant at 40 and 37 dollars respectively.

The 100-pound cylinder remains at two hundred and twenty dollars and forty-four cents.

Bulk will also remain at two dollars and thirty cents.

In Carriacou, gasoline will now be sold at 15 dollars and 50cents, a decrease of 59 cent margin.

Diesel moves from 15 dollars and 14 cents to 14 dollars and 81 cents and kerosene, from 9.60 to 9.32.

In Petite Martinique, gasoline will be sold at 10 dollars diesel 9.31and Kerosene 9 dollars and 32 cents.

On the two sister territories, the 20-pound cylinder of Rubis cooking gas remains at 49 dollars and the Petro Caribe receptacle 46 dollars….

The 100 lb Cylinder will continue to be sold at $243.44

Bulk will continue to be sold at 2 dollars and 30 cents per pound.

The energy division says the new retail prices of petroleum products are computed based on the average Freight on board costs or (Ex-refinery prices), for the period, 14th May to 13th June, 2019.
