The island lone Electricity Company GRENLEC has sent out notice reminding their customers to be prepared to mitigate the effects of potential disasters as the 2023 Hurricane Season warms up.
The hurricane season began on 1 June and will end on November 30.
Manager at transmission and distribution in Grenlec Eric Williams says the company has already gone over its preparedness plan.
Williams says the company maintains its systems throughout the year for any eventualities.
