A spirit of generosity was on display on Wednesday the 24th, 2025, as Shirlyn and Tyrone Williams, a Grenadian couple residing in New York, gave back to the Queen Elizabeth Home through a thoughtful donation to its residents.
The couple distributed a variety of much-needed items, including books, school supplies, and self-care products, aimed at supporting education, personal development, and overall well-being at the home. The donation was warmly received and highlighted the continued commitment of members of the Grenadian diaspora to uplifting communities back home.
Shirlynโs and Tyroneโs effort will continue this Wednesday, the 31st. They are scheduled to return to the Queen Elizabeth Home, where lunch will be cooked and served to residents, providing not only a meal but also fellowship and encouragement.
Their acts of kindness serve as a reminder of the strong ties Grenadians abroad maintain with their homeland, and the positive impact that giving back can have on vulnerable members of the community.
