The Grenada Cultural Foundation extends condolences to the Friday family on the passing of Dr. Trevor Friday. Dr. Friday has served our fraternity well, not only in the field of medicine but also in culture as a musician and producer. We all mourn his lost to us at this time.

This outstanding son of the soil has left a legacy in the cultural fraternity that is admirable. His continuous contribution to artistes over the last few decades is priceless. He has always offered his talents unconditionally and has had tremendous influence on the number of young artistes who have crossed his studio doors.

Although he will be remembered for his medical benevolence to society, we in the cultural fraternity will always remember is magnanimous acts of commitment and service to the entire cultural landscape. His work as a producer, keyboardist, and studio sound engineer was a testament to his unwavering love of the art form. His passionate dedication to his music had absolutely no time limits. What was of paramount importance was simply the final product. He made it happen in his own special approach with his ‘DON’T PANIC’ mantra that soothed the anxiety of those in his charge.

Dr. Friday was a one of a kind genius that was gifted to Grenada and lived up to the saying if you enjoy what you are doing it is no longer a job but a pleasure. He was bestowed with a unique set of tools in life in that of music and medicine, which he used to the benefit of others.

We at the cultural foundation extends condolences to his family and express our gratitude for his stalwart contribution and profound contribution he made to culture.
