According to the Vector Control Division of the Ministry of Health the fogging operation is in an effort to reduce the incidence of dengue fever and other mosquito-borne infection.ย
Today, the team was in the Telescope area including Progress Park.
Tomorrow the team moves to La Sagesse in St. David.ย
Fogging operations will be conducted 5 each afternoon.ย
The Ministry of Health says the fogging operation is in response to numerous complaints of mosquito infestation.ย
Itโs advising residents in the scheduled areas to be vigilant in ensuring their surroundings are free of mosquito-breeding sites.ย
