Persons suffering with respiratory problems asked to take precaution

Meanwhile, ash fall continues to be a concern among citizens here especially persons suffering with respiratory problems.

Grenada’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles, is asking persons to be extra vigilant where ash fall is concerned from neighboring St. Vincent, as a result of the ongoing La-Soufriere volcanic eruption.

Dr. Charles was responding to questions this morning posed to him by reporters in the weekly post cabinet briefing.

When asked if health officials have seen an increase in patients seeking care for respiratory problems Dr. Charles had this to say.
