PR – Leader of the Democratic People’s Movement (DPM), Peter David, delivered a stirring Christmas message, calling on Grenadians to embrace unity and hope, as the nation moves forward into a new year.

David emphasized that national unity remains a cornerstone of the DPM’s vision for Grenada’s future. “We must continue to have hope in the Grenadian possibility, the Grenadian project of unity above division,’’ David declared, invoking the spirit of togetherness that has defined his political platform.

David, reflecting on the challenges faced throughout 2025, acknowledged the difficulties many Grenadians have endured.

“This year has tested all of us in different ways. Families have carried burdens quietly. Small businesses have fought to stay afloat,’’ said David, MP for the Town of St George and a former Grenada Minister of Foreign Affairs.

MP David urged citizens to continue hoping for the best for their nation, drawing on biblical inspiration to reinforce his message.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart,’’ David quoted from Galatians 6:9.

Central to his Christmas message was a powerful reminder about the impact of individual actions. “Every small act of goodness, every hand of kindness, every moment of patience, every gesture of fairness moves us closer to the country and future that we hope to see,’’ the DPM leader emphasized.

DPM recently demonstrated this commitment to community service by hosting what organizers describe as the biggest toy giveaway in the Town of St. George.

The event drew large crowds as hundreds of gifts were distributed to children, embodying the spirit of generosity and unity that David champions.

“From my heart and my family, to your heart and your family, I wish you peace, happiness, and joy,’’ David said, extending warm holiday greetings to all the people of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
