The Grenada Football Association (GFA) today commenced aย three-day Referee Development Course, marking a significant step in enhancing the skills andย knowledge of local football officials. The workshop, running from September 2nd to 4th, isย being held at the FA Secretariat from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.
Former FIFA Assistant Referee, Mayte Ivonne Chavez Garcia is the facilitator. This initiative isย a direct result of a valuable collaboration between the Grenada Football Association and theย Mexican Football Federation (FMF), highlighting a shared commitment to advancing footballย development.
The Referee Development Course aims to equip participants with the latest understanding ofย the Laws of the Game, advanced match management techniques, positioning, and decision making on the field. It provides an invaluable opportunity for Grenadian referees to learnย from an international official with extensive experience at the highest levels of the sport.
