Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government, Hon. Tevin Andrews noting the positive development being made in the sports under the coaching of Mario Blaize, says he is happy to bring this project to fruition.
The new double court, being built by Hanson Budlhall, is expected to provide a fantastic space for tennis enthusiasts to play and develop their skills. Construction is slated for completion by August, with the bleachers to be built soon after.
Minister Andrews said, โI am fulfilling the dream of two honorable gentlemen,โ referencing the late former Prime Minister Blaize and Edmund Emmons, whose dream it was to see better tennis courts facilities on the island.
This development it is hoped will bring excitement to the community and contribute to the growth of tennisย inย Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
