The Grenada Government says itโll place greater emphasis on the youth development in 2022, considering the fact that the COVID pandemic has impacted heavily on that sector.
This is according to Governor General, Dame Cecile La Grenade, delivering the Throne Speech this morning and outlining the Governmentโs plans and programmes for the ensuing year.
Dame Cecile was at the time declaring open the fifth Session of the Tenth Grenada Parliament.
She noted the critical role Youth has to play in the countryโs development and having their prowess short-circuited somewhat be the effects of COVID-19.
With the youth sector considered a priority area, Dame Cecile says ramping up investment there has become more urgent.
