Police Investigate Apparent Drowning at Lance Aux Epines, St. GeorgeThe Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) is investigating an apparent drowning that occurred on Monday, 14th July 2025, at Lance Aux Epines, St. George.
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased went snorkelling when he became unresponsive in the water. He was recovered by divers and brought ashore where CPR was administered. However, they were unable to resuscitate him. He was subsequently examined and pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
The identity of the victim has not yet been confirmed. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The Commissioner and members of the RGPF extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
