Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 70-year-old Samuel Smith alias โGregโ of Woburn, St. George.
On Tuesday, 28th April 2026, following a report of a hanging, officers visited Woburn, St. George (Benji Bay). Upon investigation, Mr. Smithโs body was found hanging from a tree in a yard. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by a medical practitioner. A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
The Commissioner and members of the Royal Grenada Police Force extend condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Smith.
