A woman who was shot in the neck Wednesday is still at the intensive care unit at the General hospital. She will do surgery Friday. The bullet is said to be in her neck and needs to be removed. This is said to be a life threatening procedure.

According to police, they received a call reporting the incident, which occurred in the Tivoli area sometime after 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday 11th October, 2017.

The woman was transported to the Princess Alice Hospital and later transferred to the General Hospital in St. George’s.

One man is in police custody assisting with the investigation.
